Cameron Brown QC appears in a landmark decision

Cameron Brown QC appears in the landmark decision of R v Jon Andrewes, 2020 EWCA Crim 1055, which examined whether it was proportionate to make a confiscation order against Mr Andrewes, who had earned a salary for a number of years despite making false representations to obtain his employment (‘CV fraud’).

The Court of Appeal found for Mr Andrewes but has certified the case for the Supreme court, although permission to appeal has not been granted.
