David Walbank QC launches the CrimeCast.Law series: ‘The Key Cases of 2021’

23. Mar 2021

David Walbank QC has today launched the latest series on his criminal law updating website, CrimeCast.Law. ‘The Key Cases of 2021’ begin with a video case review of the Supreme Court’s judgment in R (KBR Inc) v Serious Fraud Office [2021] 2 WLR 335. The appeal was concerned with the question whether the power conferred on the Director of the SFO by section 2(3) of the Criminal Justice Act 1987 to serve a notice compelling the production of documents and information has extra-territorial application.

Today’s launch follows hard on the heels of the completion of two earlier series: ‘The Top 50 Cases of 2019’ and ‘The Top 50 Cases of 2020’. There are now more than 100 video case reviews instantly available on the website, which can be accessed at [https://CrimeCast.Law/]. Video reviews of important judgments handed down in the course of the calendar year 2021 will be added to the site between Monday and Friday each week.
