November 8, 2019

Barristers Tim Kiely and Aimee Riese hosted a roundtable discussion in Chambers as part of the Juniors under 5 year call (J5) Lecture series, with a number of solicitors attending.

The discussion on “Youth Justice” addressed a wide range of topics including: early interventions; out of court disposals and challenging decisions to prosecute; developmental immaturity, experts and sentencing; ancillary orders and criminal records.

Tim Kiely said:

“The aim was to share best practice and have a forum of discussion between barristers and solicitors representing young people both in the Youth courts and in the Crown Court.”
