Criminal Barrister, Max Hill QC has been interviewed by Red Lion Chambers as he officially stepped down from the role of Head of Chambers ahead of his new position commencing on 1st November as Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Interviewed by prominent Human Rights and Criminal Barrister David Malone, Max spoke at length about his time at the Bar in a career that spanned 31 years of practice, with 21 years of those spent at Red Lion Chambers.

The 30 minute interview covered a broad range of topics with insights into Max Hill QC’s legal background, history, considerations on legal issues, a look to his new role as DPP as well as light hearted reflections on his favourite actor, legal TV dramas and Summer Reading of 2018.
