Paul Evans successfully defends man accused of ‘stranger rape’ in Oxford City Centre

November 14, 2019

Prosecutors claimed that two ‘predatory males’ – Victor Alvizu and Nestor Macias – ‘deliberately took advantage’ of the victim who had been heavily drinking on the night.

Paul Evans represented Macias alleged the sexual activity in Turl Street on May 4 was limited to Alvizu and that it had been consensual. The defendant was found not guilty and acquitted.
