As part of our continued commitment to Social Responsibility, we announced a new partnership earlier this year with the East London Business Alliance (ELBA); a registered charity and non-profit agency that supports the social and economic regeneration of East London.
We are honoured to be the first Chambers to partner with ELBA, where our focus will be on community development, as well as education and employment.
Yesterday, we held our very first ‘Insight session’, launching our bespoke mentoring programme that will support law students to prepare for entry into the legal profession. Chambers were delighted to have a great turn out, welcoming students from London Metropolitan University, University of Greenwich & University of East London. We had a wonderful panel of speakers at different stages in their careers, who gave inspiring talks on their entry into the profession, particular challenges they overcame, funding and career progression.
