Sailesh Mehta achieves a unanimous ‘not guilty’ verdict for a young defendant charged with attempted murder.
The incident was almost entirely filmed on cctv, showing the defendant and complainant at 3.30am; the defendant fled the UK immediately after the victim suffered multiple life-threatening knife wounds during the incident. The defendant was acquitted by a Jury after a 7-day trial in early November 2020. Sailesh was instructed by Lloyds PR, one of the largest criminal legal aid firms in the UK.
